Lomba Gorda is a beautiful little valley, a hidden refuge in a very good and quiet location. Several registered stone buildings, fertile and flat agriculture land and lots of own water distinguish this interesting property.
There are 2 registered stone houses. One of them is in ruins and is registered as a habitational building. The second one is mostly intact and well preserved, with exception of a part of the roof, which has to be renewed. This building is registered as a agricultural building.
The house-ruin has a registered footprint of 57 m2. The agricultural building has two storeys and a footprint of approx. 20 m2.
The property consists of several flat areas with fertile soil, as well as a forest with different types of trees supplying firewood.
Several beautiful, large, old chestnut and oak trees make for relaxing spots in the shade.
Grape vines and a few fruit trees can also be found on the land.
There’s own water running from a spring year-around.
The property can be accessed through different dirt roads, the shortest one has a length of approx. 700m from the village “Vale Dianteiro”. A 4×4 is recommended as there are a few rough patches.
Approx. 10 minutes by car to the town of Serta with a good infrastructure.
1 hour to the Atlantic coast, about 2 hours to both airports of Lisbon and Porto.
